Liabilities Revised To Date.
A more thorough aud careful examination of the condition of the McCoy bank, enables Assignee Chapman to figure its liabilities with more exactness than the figures previously given. These revised figures, though still in round numbers, are approximately oorreot. They are aa follows: Time deposits $248,000 Current balanoes 116000 Due Bonks and others... 77,000 Total liabilities $441,000
The last item of $77,000 is made up mostly of debts due other banks, and a few individuals. $37,000 of it is seoured by collaterals, and will have to be paid in full, $20,000 is owed in Lafayette, SIO,OOO in New York, and SIO,OOO more is the estimated aggregate of protested drafts, Those liabilities include only the debts of the bank proper, and do not inolude the private debts of the partuers, nor the debts owed by the various side partnerships. These will no doubt raise the total amount of olaims which the assignee will have to adjust to very dose to the half million mark.
