Hop’s Dog Hops.

Toe final feature of the Thursday evening band concerts, was the first publio appearance of Prof. Sunday the trained oanine high diver. He belouga to and was trained by Vernon Hopkins, more commonly called Hop. He is wise and brave beyond the coramou generation of dogs, and the feat he preforms is truly remarkable. At the command of bis master, Prof. Sunday shins up to the top of a 35 foot ladder set only slightly inclining, then out on a platform, and from thence plunges head flret and alights unharmed in a net,. 30 feet below. It is a genuine act of oanine intelligence and bravery, and one that is seldom excelled in any animal show.

The dog is of coach dog strain, is only about 8 months old, and is olear white all over except his tail, which is of the same color, Hop is already booking engagements for Prof. Sunday’s great stunt, for street oarnivals and the like, his first that is dosed up being for the coming carnival in Goodland.
