A School Orator Selected.

An oratorical contest was held at the school house, Wednesday afternoon, to select a candidate to t represent the Rensselaer high school, at the coming field meet and oratorical contest, on May 21st. The candidates were Lucile Marshall and Madge Beam, of the Sophomore class, and Charley Chupp, of the Freshman class. The judges were Co. Superintendent L. H. Hamilton, Rev. A. G. Work and Attorney Wm. H. Parkison. All the contestants made good scores, Lucile Marshall being selected as the school orator by a close margin.
