A Paroled Convict Re-Captured.

Last Saturday evening Sheriff Hardy got his eye on a party who had been here some weeks befcre whom he recognized from his picture and description, as Tom Ferguson, a paroled convict from Michigan City, who had broken his parole. He was arrested by Deputies Bruce Hardy and 01 Robinson, and Sunday an officer came from the prison and took him back; Ferguson was sent from White county several years ago, on a two to 11 years’ sentence for stealing cattle and whatever else was movable. He was one of a gang that operated over around Monon. He was paroled last August, to a man in Carroll county and in less than a month broke his parole and had not been seen since. He has been working over towards Goodland. This is the second time he has been released on parole aud broken it, and he probably has a good long stay before him before he is released again. Sheriff Hardy is entitled to $25 reward for recapturing the fellow
