The Democrats had a H —earst of a time in LaFayette, Friday The county central committee was called together, evidently in the ' learst interest to choose delegates o the state convention. Dan Simms and other Parker men appeared and objected to that method of choosing delegates, and created a tremenduous row by declaring that he had been offered $25,000 for his personal campaign
expenses if he would accept the Democratic nomination for Governor as a Hearst man. He also said that County Chairman Risk was under contract to deliver the Tenth district solid to Hearst,
