Lyons vs Lyons Divorce Case.

Judge Hanley got still another of the pending divorce cases off his docket Friday afternoon. It was Addie M. Lyons vs Anthony Lyons. They were married in Chicago April 22nd, 1891, when she was a dressmaker and he a railroad switchman. They ceased to live together as hueband and wife about Sept. 21, 1901, but according to tue evidence at the trial he has still continued to sponge his living off of her during the winters and then deserting her and her children during the rest of the year.

She charges cruelty in the way of calling her names, cursing and swearing at her, and in uncalled for and undeserved abuse of their children; also t >tal failure to provide anything for their support, thou, h not being backward in par taking of what she earned or wagiven her by her father aud brother. She was granted a divorce and the custody of her four children. She now lives at Dunnville and is the daughter of M V. Sands one of Kankakee township’s most respected citizens.
