Tlie fact that there 4« more grain put into the straw stack than there should be, is sonjething that merits the earnest attention of the .up-to-date farmer. Is it not possible to save the wastage of grain and time which attends the hse of old-style machinery? This is something that should command the careftfi?consideration of every farmer. In line with the thought we call attention to the ad. of Nichols & Shepard Company, Battle Creek, Mich., found in another column. It would seem that the time has come when this great channel of wastage on the farm should be eliminated.
