Eckstrom’s Body Recovered
After reposing in the water and toe of Lake Miohigan .for nearly four months, the body of Geo. Eckstrom was discovered and recovered, last Saturday. Re was a young Swede who lived in the vicinity of Rensselaer for quite a number of years, and in the town itself a-small part of the time. He removed to the vicinity of South Chicago, and on the 20,h of last D member went out on Lake Michigan, with two companions, nunting duoke. The water was rough and ioe running badly, and the boat was swamped or crushed in the ioe, aud ali the three of its oooupaots were drowned. Eckstrom made his home wit i Henry’ Shipman - southwest of town, when he lived in this vicinity, aud worked for various farmers, including Walter Porter, in Jordan Tp. He also lived for some time about Fair Oaks.
No particulars of the recovery of his body have reaohed here, nor whether the other bodies were recovered or not. He has a brother Charley Eoketrom, living near Brook. <'
