Fair Oaks.

F. E. Husted is working as night operator at Brookston Glenn Sayler. of Rensselaer, was the guest of friends in town last Sunday. Rev. Rummell will preach at the M. E. church Saturday evening. Everybody invited Ed Kessler is helpit gto build a new house tor Bruce Moffitt. C. A. Gundy is making some improvements in the interior of his saloon and also adding new fixtures, in the way of a fine new bar.

Jake Spitzer is cleikingin Ike Kight’s store dur ng the absence of his son Jack. If rumor is to be depended upon, we will have a new grocery store in Fair Oaks in the near future. Little Hula Shehkn is having a tussel with the meas es at the home of her grandparents, Ike Right and wife Mrs Cottingham and son Willie, visited her sister, Mrs. Sam Ritchey, at Wheat field, from Saturday till Monday. Miss Jennie Heflin, of Chicago, will give a humorouß entertainment at the M E. church, Wednesday evening, April 27th. Everybody invited.
