About the Bank Failure.
The Deed of Trust Filed Last Tuesday Horning. Up to this time, about the only new feature of interest in the bank case, is the filing of the deed of trust to the assignee of the bank. The deed is given jointly by Alfred and Thomas J. MoCoy. Besides personal property it oonveys about 3,000 acres of land, the bank building, and some smaller hold ings of oity propeity. The following is the wording of the deed of trust:
Deeds Of Assignment Know all Men by these Presents, that the undersigned Alfred M:Ooy and Tnomas .J. MoCoy of Rensselaer, Jasper Count}, Indiana, as partners transacting business under the firm name of A. MoCoy & Co, in the City of Rens selaer, J»sp>r County, ladiana, doing a general baukiug business, and being the only members of said firm and deeming it now to be the best interest of our creditors and being uow financially embarrassed and in failing oiroumstanoes, do hereby oonvey, assign, give, grant and quit-olaim to William A. Rinehart in trust for the benefit of all our bom fide creditors, pursuant to the laws of the State of Indiana, all our Choses in aotion, credits and personal property, of whatever kind it may be, whether within or without the State of Indiana, as more particularly set forth in the aooompanying schedule., filed here-
with and marked exhibit “A”, to wbioh reference is had, and also the following described real estate, situate in the County of Jasper and State of Indiana, to-wit. Tbe east half of the Booth east quarter; also Lot five (5) in the north east quarter of the north east quarter; the south half of the north half of the south east quarter of the north east quarter, the north half of the south half of the south eaqt quarter of the h >rth east quarter; and fifty (60) acres off of the north end of the north east quarter of ths north east quarter, all in section five (5), and the south half of the south half of the sooth east quarter of the north east quarter of said section five (5), containing in all Two hundred twelve and 67-100 acres. Also the south west quarter and the south half of the north west quarter and twenty two and 63-100 acres off of the south end of th e north west quarter of the north west quarter and Lots One (1), two (2). three (3) and four (4) in
the north west quarter of the northwest quarter of section four (4), containing forty (40) acres. Also the east half of the north east quarter of section eiurbt (8), except one (1) acre in a square fcrm out of the south west oorner thereof: all of seotion nine (9) and all of section ten (10) except one (1) acre in a square form out of the north west quarter of the south east quarter of said seotion ten (10), the west half of the north west quarter of seotion fifteen (15), and the north half of seotion sixteen (16), all of the above; described land being in township twenty eight (28) north range seven (7) west and containing in all twenty two hundred thirty three and 30-100 acres according 4o the Government survey, Also the undivided one half of all that part of seotion eight (8) and all that part of the north east quarter of seotion seventeen (17) lying west of the Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville Railway, containing three hundred ninety nine and 15-100 acres; the east half of the north west quarter and the north west quarter of said seotion seventeen (17) -containing one
hundred twenty (120) sores all of said land being in township thirty north, range-five (s|j west, containing one hundred sixty (160) acres. Also the southwest quarter of the north east quarter of section twenty (20), township thirty (30) north, range six (6) west, containing forty (40) aores. Also the Bank building property at the oorner of Washington and Van Reneselser streets in the oity of Rensselaer, being thirty eight and one half (38|) faet wide .on Washington street and six ; y six § (66f) feet long on Van Rensselaer street aud is situated on the easterly ends of lots five (o) and six (h) in block three (3) iiaaid City.

We further show that the above
described real .estate and the schedule of persmal ohoses in action, and credits include not only the property of said partnership, but also the in dividual property of each mem ' ber of said firm; and that it is the intention to subject all of said property as well as the partner ship property to the psymmt. of our boua fide debts A< FRED Thomas J. Me ’OY. The deed is duly attested by a notary. A statement is also appended, affirmed by A. MoCov and sworn to by f. , that the eohedule oontains a brief statement of all property; that a oomplete schedule will be,ti!ed in a few days; and that they-have not directly nor indirectly transferred or reserved any money or property, for themselves nor any other person, and that they have not acknowledged a debt nor confessed a judgment to aoy person or persons, with the iatention of delaying or defrauding the creditors
SCHEDULE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. Attached to this deed of trust is a brief schedule of personal property, which inoludes: Secured notes value, 115 00C Unsecured notes value, SIOO,OOO (Some of which are up for and as collateral ) All other oredits etc, $25,000. Also farming implements. 330 head of oattle. 8 horses, 15 mules, 60 hogs, 200 sheep and goats. 10,000 bushelfl of oorn. 3,000 bushels of oats.
