The Shooting Tournament.
The two days’ shoeing oouttbt at Riverside Park, of Wedneiday and Thursday did not close in time for full reports this issue. It was very successful and Httrfoted an unusual number of excellent shooters. ’ v
The big silver trophy is to be awarded to tho amatuer making the highest average for Ihe two days.

The professional shooters, representing various arms and powder m ikers, are ont in foroe. Perhaps the most noteworthy of these is Mrs. Nellie Bennett, of Denver Colo., one of the very few professional women target shooters She has done some pretty fair shooting at the tournament. She and John Fanning of New York, represent the Lafiin & Rand Powdt-r Co.
Ralph Trimble of Ooviugton, Ky., J. L. Heat, of Peru, Ind., H. N Kirby, of Cincinnati, 0. W. Vietmyer, of Chicago, are other, crack shots, representing different big firms in the lines of . powder, gnus, etc.
