Bussell Again Busy.
Charley Bussell, of Hanging Grove, foe of wolf and friend of man, got bnsy again Tuesday in hia wolf destroying specialty; and came near making it his record wolf-killing. He saw three big wolves that day, and jnst for the oironmstanoe that be had his shot gnn instead of his rifle, he could have killed the whole pack. As it was he took 100 yard shots at two of them with buckshot, and knocked them both down, bnt neither were so badly hurt bnt they got np and ran away. Bnt even as it was he did a good day’s work for himself and the community, for he found their den and seven lively young wolf-ohbs therein, and these will be good for a oonnty bounty of three dollars
apiece. TbeD he will present the whole banob to Janitor Spriggs, for the school mnsenm; and what a happy family they will then make, all beautifully mounted and grouped about the old wolf, already in the museum.
At present Charley is keeping the onbs alive and using them as a bait to try to trap the old ones. He bad them oat for that purpose last night bat the old wolves did not show np, and hence he thinks he mast have wounded them so badly that they will die. He wi’l continue the attempt to trap them for a night or two longer however, and then will go on a bunt for the wounded wolves.
