Beware of the Carolina Poplar.

The city authorities of New oastle have issued an ordinance prohibiting the planting of the North Carolina poplar within the city limits in future and having all now standing out down. With its eager propensities for seeking water, tne roots of the tree have given no end of trouble, tilling up sewers, and etc. Sewer tile taken up has baen found literally filled with small roots from trees as far as forty feet away.
