Decline to Shift Boundary Lines

For some time the N irthwesi Indiana M thodist Conference, has advocated a change of boundary lines so that the boundary lines would be th* St. Joseph river south from the Michigan line t > Sou h Bend, taence south along the old Michigan road to Indianapolis. The questi u was Drought up at the conference which in session at Muncie this week when it wan voted down. Some considerable changes were proposed in the districts of the Northwest conferenee in case the conference boundaries were changed, which will probably now be abandoned. Had these changes been made Rensselaer would probably have been made the head-quHrt-rs of a district.
