The County Commissioners.

The mers met Monday morning in regular monthly session. The only saloon I'cense application before them this term was that of Ohas. A. Gundy, of Fair Oaks, who asked for a renewal of his license. There has heretofore been considerable opposition to saloons in Union, but the antisaloon forces were badly beaten in the last attempt, to beat a saloon at Parr, and therefore there was no fight this time and Mr. Gundy got his license Monday without opposition. A number of claims were also considered and acted upon, that day.
