World’s Fair New Stamps.

The postoffioe department has announced that a special series in stamps, in five denominations, to commemorate the Louisiana purchase of 1803 and to be known as the commemorative series of 1904, will be issued beginning April 21, for sale to the public during the term of the St. Louis exposition from April 30 to December 1,1904. A supply of the regular issue of stamps will be kept in stock by all postoffioes during the period.
