Many Teachers Fail.

Fifty per cent of the applicants at the last state examinations for teachers certificates are disappointed in that they failed to obtain the required grade. Those who were suoessful have been appraised of this by the state superintendent of pnblic instruction. The number of examination papers graded was 4,393, and the cost of grading was $3,207.
