Surprise Failed to Work.
A German from some place north was in the court house today, trying to get track, from the land records, of a man named Jacob Schultz. It seems that some days ago an old gentleman, named Klien, or Kline, also a German, whose home is in Philadelphia, but who bad been to Hot Springs for his health, stopped off here expecting to find and surprise his sister, Mr. Schultz’s wife. They formerly lived near Philadelphia, also, but came out here some place, three years ago. Mr. Klien did not know just where they were, but Schultz mailed a letter to him from Rensselaer, and Mr, Klien figured that he would have no trouble in locating her and giving her a good surprise. He spent several days however, traveling over this and adjoining counties but though he found plenty of Schultzes, no track could he obtain of bis lost Jacob, and Monday be left for bis home in Philadelphia, leaving a request for the above mentioned party to continue the search.
