An Unusual Farm History.

A land sale of more than usual interest just lately oomsummated, is that of Unole Geo. W. Jenkins, who sold his 80 acre farm in Barkley township to E. L. Hollingsworth This farm has been Mr. Jenkins’ home for over 50 years, and he had held the title for it 49 £ears the 30ib of last January. It was deeded to him by his father, Trumah B. Jenkins The latter got it from John Rayhilt, and his-title was from the United States government. So this sale now is only the third time the farm has changed hands since it ceased to be government land. Morever the farm has never had a mortgage Upon it, of any kind nor for any amount, which is another very unusual oircumstanoe. Mr. Jenkins, who is quite old and in poor health, will retain possession of the farm this year, one of his sons working it. After that he will live about with his children.
