Call for State and Congressional Conventions.

To the Fepublican Voters of Jasper County: The Republican voters of Jasper County will meet in district conventions, on Saturday April 2nd, i 904, at two o’clock P. M..» ior iba> purpcsa of electing delegates and alternate delegates to the District Convention to be hrld at LuPortct Indiana, on April s'b, 1904, and also for the purpose of electing delegates and alt-mate del-gate® to the State Convention to be he/d at Indianapolis, Indiana, on April 26:b and 27th, 190TT" The delegates and alternate d-la. gates chosen to the District Com. vention will meet in District Convention at LaPorte, Indiana on April sth, 1904, at two o’clock p rn-, t t aneaot the following business.

First. To nominate a candidate for Congrts-; S oond. To seleot two delegate® and two alternate delegates to the National Convention. Third. To nominate a Candidate for E eotor to represent the Tenth Distriot on the National Ti ket; The delegates and alternate delegates chosen to the State Convention will meet in State Convention at Indianapolis, Indiana, on Aoril 26tb and 27tb, 1904, to tramaot the following business; First. To seleot four delegate® and four alternate delegates at large;

Seoond. To seleot two Electors at large; Third* To nomiuate candidates for the various State offioes. For the purpose of these delegates and in conformity with a rule of the State Commutes Jasper County has been divided mthe following Districts, each district being entitled to and each district to seleot one delegate and one alternate delegate to the Stats convention; the voters of the various districts to meet at} 2 P. M. Saturday, April 2nd, 1904, to seleot these delegatee and alternate delegates; First Distriot: Wheatfidd -and Kankakee Township, at Wheatfield Beooud Distriot: Keener Township and North precinot of Union Township, meet at Virgie: Third Distriot; Gillano Township, and Walker Township, at Asphaltum; Fourth Distriot: Barkley Township, at Center Sohool House; Fifth District. Hanging Grove Township, Milroy Township and third precinct Marion Township at Rensselaer. Sixth Distriot: South r ec:nat Union Township and first precinct Marion Township, at Rensselaer; Seventh District: Newton Township. -Jordan Township and fourth preoinct Marion township, Renspelaer: Eighth Distriot: Seoond prsoinot Marion Township, at Renabblhbt * .
