Newland. John Biwen and family wil move to Lewiston this week. Mrs. T. M. Oallahan and daughter Ruth, and Owen Callahan visited the latter’s sister, Mrs. Win. Whited and family Saturday aud Sunday at Stoutsburgh. Fred Germain who has been painting at Cbebanse, 111, returned home Saturday. Jesse Nuss and family moved, to Newland Thursday. Miss Minnie Hemphill visited her parents at Rensselaer Saturday and Sunday. Harry Gifford was nominated at the primary Saturday held at Center school, for trustee of Barkley, by a majority of 25 votesCharley Walker was nominated for assessor by 68 votes over Charley Reed.
