Many Applications for Positions.

The Indiana senators and representatives are being deluged with applications from persons in the State who desire to Beoure position at the Bt. Louis exposition. Most of the applicants are students of Purdue Universary, Earlham and DePauw. It will not be possible for the delegation to secure appointments for all who have written them. Senator Fairbanks has just reoeived a letter from President Franois, of the Exposition company which will be of interest for the reason that it outlines the requirements of persons appointed as guards in the exposition grounds President Franois says: "The application must be at least five feet eight inches in height, between the ageh of twenty one and forty and in sound physical condition in order to be able to pass the medical examination.”
