Has Two Naval Cadet Appointments.

After Maroh 5, Congressman Crumpaoker will have|two appointments to bis credit at the United States Naval Aoademy, and there may be a big chance for some worthy Jasper oounty boy to get an appointment. Examinations will be held April 19, and June 21 and any young man between the ages of 1(5 and 21 will be eligible to enter the competition. The navy is greatly in need of officers and the naval academy officers are anxious to have the quota filled. Those who wish to “brush up” for the examinatien can do so at the academy’ preparatory school A midshipman re oeives SOOO a year and his tuition, light, fuel and other incidentals at the expense of the government.
