Shelby Depot Burned.
And still the exoitement keep 9 np on the banks of the Indiana Yalu, and between fighting, fires and vodka there is generally something doing. The latest was the burning of the Monon and Three I joint depot at Shelby, which ooonred early last Wednesday moreing. The fire was discovered about 12:30 a. m., breaking out through the oeiliug around the chimney, and evidently started from a defective flue. Help was called and water oarried but the fire had got too good a start and the whole building soon went. Most of the'rec ords wore saved and but li‘tie if any of the freight on hand was lost Arrangements have been made to use the restaurant just south of the depot for a station and telegraph office until some more permanent arrangements, can be effected. ■...
