H if i - Best Military Company And The Best Company Armory. Major Joseph R. Harrison, of .Columbia City and commander of the third battalion of the Third Regiment, I, N. G., was here Monday night and inspected Company M. Fifty men were in line, and the inspection was rigid and thorough, the minutest detail. When it was over the Major said Company M. was the best militia oompany Jn Indiana, and that they had the yßest and best equipped oompany armory in the state, also; and he has ploiity of opportunity to know wbat he is talking about, This inspection is preparatory to .one to be made soon, by a U. S. inspecting officer, and on which much depends in the future.
