Death of Squire Chappell.

George. B. Chappell, the old time justice of the peace of Remington, and one of the very earliest and best known residents of that town, died Wednesday morning at about 8 o’olock. flis age was 78 years, 4 moffths and 6 days. He went to Remington first in 1858, and has resided there continuously sinoe 1860. He was one of the very first business men of that place. The funeral will be held Friday, at two p. m. He was a well known Odd Fellow, aud the Remington Lodge will attend in a body. It is prob able also, that a delegation of members will attend from Rensselaer.
