A Wreck at Dyer.
By the breaking of an arch bar on a sooth bound extra freight, at Dyer Wednesday afternoon, the engine was derailed and ran into the north bound looal freight, and tbe local’s engine and fonr oars were knooked into the ditch. Considerable damage was done, but the extent of which has not been learned defiuilely. The track was blocked for quite a long time causing the passenger trains, to round-about roads. The milk train going around by Momence and tbe 5:32 north going around by Wheeler, and missing Rensselaer entirely. No one eeems to have beea very seriously hurt, though one of the men was pretty badly “skinned up” and at first reported as likely to die.
