MISCELLANEOUS.
Senator Hanna's will has been probated. Instead of leaving from eight to foity millions of property, as has usually been stated he left only three millions.
A musical entertainment under charge of Miss Davidson teacher of music and drawing, will be given Thursday at 2:HO p. m in the assembly room, of the high school building. It will be given by pupils of the 7th grade., and music pupils of the Bth grade It is es pecially desired that parents of these pupile be present. Geo. W. Axe. sue of Porter oounty’s oldest settlers, died Monday at his home near Boone Grove, dying on the land he bought of the government, at $1 25 per acre. He left nine children, one of whom was Mrs. Eiizi Marion, wife of L. D. Marion, and former well known resident of Rensselaer and vicinity, now living in Carroll county. He formerly was quite a frequent visitor of the Marions while they lived here. He was 87 years old.
