A New Depot In Sight.

Its Location Still Somewhat Undecided. Rensselaer ia at laat to have a new depot building, and it will be fine enough to pay for onr long waiting lor it. J. A. Kent, the ohief engineer, was here Thursday looking over the ground. From him it was learned that the building would be 65 feet long, and a correspondingly roomy depta. It will contain two large waiting rooms, office and baggage room, and also toilet rooms. It will be of Bedford stone, and of solid and lasting but also ornamental oon - atruction. The very important question of its location is not fully decided upon. It will either be two blocks west, aud a little west of Coen & Brady's elevator or abont a block, east, where the water ‘ank now stands. The location west of the elevator would already have been definitly chosen were it not for the disadvantage of the heavy carve in the track just bevond that cite. Mr Keut was not willing to take the entire responsibility of select ing the location, and the general superintendent will probably be here in a few days.
