Little Girl Badly Injured.
Sunday evening, about five o’olo< k little Loretta Putts, 10 year old daughter of Joe Putts, about two miles south of town, was kicked by h horse and very badly and dangerously injured. She was placing ah >ui the barn and one qf the horses kicked her behind the ear. She received a bad soalp wound, and the sutures, or seams, of the temporal bone were loosened and the bone foroed inward to the bram The horse was net shod, or the injury would probably have been immediately fatal. The vhild remained uuoonsoious for many hours, and bled considerably at nose and mouth But this morning she had regained consciousness and is somewhat better, and the physician, Dr. I. M. Washburn, haß strong hopes that she will recover.
