A New Librarian Elected.

The board of directors of the old Jasper Public library met Thursday afternaon, in the clerk’s office, to elect ali rarian, to su ceed Miss Stella Parkison, resigned t) be married There was a full attendance of the board for the first time in its history. Only one cand date was presented, Miss Alice Bates, and the vote for h--r was unanimous. She is deputy county clerk, and will make a careful aud accommodating librarian.
