The sls which he gets out of the wolf Charley says ’ will only pay him about a cent apiece on the poultry this wolf has killed for him during the seven or eight years of hie aoquain- • tanoe. His specialty was turkeys, and be scrupled no more to take a mother turk off her brood than to slay the proud gobbler while he strutted. The people of the whole neighborhood have had a regular week’s celebration since this wolf was killed. Charley had the dead wolf’s picture taken Friday, with '-Charley in it with his avenging shot gun. Ho also had the wolf weighed and he pulled down 42 pounds, which is pretty dprge ■ tor a common prairie Wolf. -w—. —, Austin A Hopkins can make loans on farm and city property ■nicker than any firm in Jasper
