A Carpenter Man’s Suicide.
Tom Seelye, a man living on the Fdx farm, in the southwest corner ,es Carpenter township and Jasper 1 county, committed suicide in a Chicago hotel, on Saturday Feb, Sth. He had gone Chicago a few days before, and used laudanum for the purpose. He had been drinking heavily a long time past. He wife :jn£L "Awo young ohildren, and was about 35 years old. A. brother, George Seelye, lives near Remington, and is a well-to-do and much respected •itisen. The funeral aas held at a flood land.
