Can’t Lose Uncle Bill.
Uncle Bill N. Jones is not yet lost to the number of good bowlers and good feelers, in this world where both are none too numerous. Writing from Bellwood, Neb., under date of Feb. 12th, he says: Bert (bis son) has almost entirely recovered from bis accident though minus bis right band The winter has been a very remarkable one indeed: not a particle of raiu has fallen einoe Oct. last, and but 2or 3 skifts of snow not enough at any time to track a jack rabbit and but very little wind, and but little cold until February which is hovering right around (0) The roads are as smooth as our Washington street. W. J. Bryan stock is worth about 60 cents on the SIOO.UO. They think that Old Man Jones, as a wonder is a bowler. I have bowled on 4 different allies and have won every cash prize offered. I bowled a man with a 300 record and beat him 20 to the game. I bowled the champion of the State at North Fork and we stand a tie.
BILL N. JONES.
