Indiana World’s Fair Notes.

Indiana Day at the exposition September 15, The interior decorating of the Indiana building is under way. Farmers of the state have guaranteed enrngh corn for the special oom show. The Ft. Wayne Electrical company, through Commissioner S B Fleming, has < ff-red any ariioies manufactured bv it needed for the Indiana building. The coal operators-association has .notified the Indiana exposition commission that it will make an exhibit, and Wing & Mahunn, Ft Wayne architects, have prepared the plans for the display. The Henry Taylor lumber company of Lafayette will make the booths in which the display of china and needle work exhibits for the woman’s department will be made at the exposition Superintendent Richard J >hnsou, of the Indiana school for the deaf has asked for an appropriation to make an exhibit of the methods employed in tke school of teaching the deaf of the state His plan is to send several olassefrum the institution to St Louis and give exhibitions of the teaching methods. .

Johnson county has contributed over 100 bushels of corn for the spjoial oom show. Tue oom was lubu.itted to a corn show arranged by Olore and Overstreet, who will make the- big display which was held at Frai klin. Over sixtv farms sent corn and the fair was attended by 1,000 farmers and their families.
