A Cross Complaint Filed.
O. F. Arnold, of Barkley has fit* ed across complaint to his wife’s suit for divorce. In it he admits that himself and wife have not lived peaoably together, and especially not since she started and dismissed a similar suit aocut two years ago. In.this cross complaint iu which the wife of course becomes the cross defendant, she is alleged to have been a very ‘'cross” defendant indeed, Weuld not speak to or have anything to do with him. More sensational charges still are made, in which the name of a former hired man is mention-
ed, and also a picture made of his house in which it ia alleged the face of a man ia seen peering out of a window, "where hie own face ought to be” in about the words of an old song. "
If the cue gws to trial and each party presents evidence in support ot the allegations of their complaints, it will be quite a sensation* al affair.
