Great Possibilities For Northern Indiana.

Great possibilities for northren Indiana are discerned by Gov ernor Winfield T. D Durbin, who was recently interviewed on the subject. “I think northern Indiana is destined for a great future,” said the chief executive. "Its locality, natural advantages and transportation facilities are excellent and are what £ based the opinion on. I think before long there will be an influx of industries along the lake. Some will come from east; others from Chicago. It will not be long lake will be opened up inland; Thisis being done at Indiana Harbor. In thia way boats from the lake will reach inland cities.” He says the natural advantages of the Indiana cities are many and that their industrial is assured. That the governor is since T e in his optimistic prophecy regarding northern Indiana is proved by his recent investment in this part of the state. In addition to becoming financially interested in the Elkhart Power company project, he has interests in the Goshen Rubber company, of Goshen, and the American Trust company at South Bend.
