Elkhart has a business woman in Miss Florence Cooke who is surely entitled to recognition, MiSs Oooke found herself involved financially and she appealed to the bankruptcy law for relief. When she got into court Miss Oooke found that, not being married, she could not take advantage of the S6OO exemption feature of the bankruptcy law. That is where Miss Cooke asserted herself. She summoned au old lover, Mr. Amasa H. Stevenson, put him in conjunction with the situation, and as soon as a marriage license .could ce obtained they were joined for life and the S6OO exemption.
