To Have a School Garden.
Delphi is to have a school garden, the first in the state of Indiana School gardens have long been a part of the public school system of Germany, Sweden, and some other old countries well advanced in popular education, and they have proved of inestimable benefit in many ways. The Delphi school garden will be partly devoted to Bowers and shrubbery, but will also have a vegetable garden, also, and each pupil will have an individual garden, about six feet square, and planted and cared for himself, under the instruction of the teacher. The product will belong to the pupil that raises it. The ground to be devoted to the school garden is about four acres in extent and was formerly a cemetery. We’ve taken the best way we know to make room for our Spy ng stock, made onr prices smaller.
