Coal Oil Can Explodes.

Mrs Baughman’s Mother Fatally Burned By Coal Oil at Monoo. Mrs. M. J. Berry, of Monon, aged about 65 years, and mother of Mrs. U. M. Banghman of this place, and herself quite well known here, met with a terrible mishap at her home, about 6 oclock last Saturday morning. She was using coal oil, or kerosine, to kindle her fire, when the oil took fire and the can exploded throwing the burning oil over Mrs Berry and burning her terribly about the face and upper body. Mrs. Baughman happened to be with her at the. time, and Mr. Baughman, who was informed by telephone, went over on the 11 a. m , train At the time he left, she was not expected to survive her injuries more than a few hobrs and her death occured some time that afternoon .
