Tonsil Me on Jody.

Down at Lafayette someone played an o'd but cruel joke on John F. Judy. They sent a Christmas poem to the Lafayette Call, of which Judy is the proprietor, and which was duly published. After the paper was out it was discovered that the poem was an engenious acrostic and that the first letters in eVery line, reading downward, spelled the word, “horse-thief.” In view of Mr Judy’s recent trial the intention of the author to be personal rather than pleasant, is considered some what'bbvious, and it is said the authorship of the poem is now being diligently enquired into.
