The Weather Is (hit-freaking Itself.

Our freakish climate has fairly out freaked itself daring the past few days. Thursday was almost a spring day with its balmy sontheru breeze, and temperature of 38 degrees during the day, and only down to 32 iu the night. Friday forenoon was like Thursday, but in the afternoon, a little but Very vicious bob-tailed blizzard, from lowa hit us, and ripped and raged for a few hours, and sent the thermometer down to eleven below zero, Saturday morning. A fall from the day before of 42 degrees. Saturday the blizzard vanished as suddenly as it bad come, and by Sunday afternoon was up to 36 degrees, a rise from Satarday morning of 47 degrees.

Then the wind flopped to the northward again, a feeble echo of Friday’s blizzard came along, and by Monday morning the temperature was down to 4 above zero, or a fall of 31 degrees from the after noon before. Monday the wind was south again and warmer weather prevailing.
