John Blame visited friends east of town over Sunday.. Fred Lee spent Sunday with relatives at Medaryville. Barny Newland waa at Medarjvilla on business Thursday. T. M. Callahan is buying grain for OhurohiM White Grain Co. D. R Romine and family have moved to a farm west of Rensselaer. Mr. Jackson, of Lafayette, was a guest of T. M. Callahan one day lost week. ' I Dr. Ivir MoCormick, of Chicago, ia viaiting bis wife Cest of town, daring the holidays. Geo, Johnson has moved to Marion, Ind., where he will work «t the carpenters trade. Fraoois Hulliban took a load of farming tools to Lafayette last week for Jamison Bros.
Ernest Haddock is getting along very nicely at present, but will not be able to be out for a oouple of months yet, Mrs. Wm Whited of Dowagiao, Miob., is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. Caliaban, west of town, this week. • Drtdge No. 2 shut down Thurs day for the winter, This is the first time for 12 years that all dredging has been stopped here. Gifford & Callahan shipped their last oar of onions last week, whioh makes five oars since the freezing weather. They were nipped pretty badly by frost.
