Indiana World Fair Notes.
Cndiana day at the exposition September 15. The horticultural display for the early months has been completed and the specimens of fruit are now in cold storage iu Indipolis. All the editors of Indiana will be Baked to send their to the Indiana baiiding that visitors to the exposition may always be able to find the latest home papers ready for their perusal. A pyramid of ooal thirty feet high and ten feet square at the base will be one of the Indiana exhibits. Brazil blook ooal will be used for tbe base and each of the four sides of the pyramid will be of a different variety of soft coal. The Culver Military academy will send a detachment of student troops to St. Louis during the exposition and the young soldiers will be in camp there for two weeks, All the details of soldier life will be faithfully oarried out by tbe boys. The latest report received at the Indiana World’s Fair headquarters is to the effeot that the Indiana baiiding is three fourths completed. This estimate is made by the managers of tbe exposition company . Four of tbe state buildings are completed and the Indiana buildihgeomes next although work was not commenced until after August 1. Sid Conger, State oil inspector, who is in charge of the poultry exhibit to be made at the exposition, says be expects to send 1,000 birds to the World’s Fair. There are nearly seventy varieties of chlokenS raised in the state, fie says; and the 1,000 birds will give an opportunity mafia a good, display in each department.
