Mrs. Lanra Ratbfcn Fischer, of Chioago visited her old friend Mrs Rebecca Porter Saturday night and 9nnday, returning home Sunday afternoon. She had been giving an elocutionary entertainment at Francesville, and visiting old home friends in Gillam Tp. She still keeps np her elocutionary work, and is in frequent demand in Chioago and neighboring suburbs. Her entertainment at Franoesville was quite suooeesfnl. He firstjfelt it ooming on abont two week ago and thinks it Was occasioned by a braise received while chopping wood, The finger has been lanoed twioe, bat continues to be very painful and is oansing Ben sleepless nights.
