A Thigh Bone Broken.
Mrs. J. P. Warner met with a very painful aooident last Saturday morning at her home on Front street, about 11 o'clock. She had started out to the well in the baok part of the yard to pump a buoket of water, when owing to the slippery condition of the walk she fell and sustained a severe fraoture to the thigh boue of the left leg. The bone is broken in the region of the hip joint whioh makes the injury a doubly severe and painful one. t>rs English and Berkley were summoned shortly after the aooident oooured, and by noon they bad reduced the fracture in a very successful manner. They report that she is doing as well as could be expeoted although she is suffering considerable pain.
