The Purdue Dairy School.

The Indianapolis News has the following from Lafayette regarding_lhe school for dairy work and butter making at Purdue University, now being attended by Mrs. B. D. Comer, of Union, Tp., LaFayette. Ind., Dec. B.' One •f the most interested classes in dairy work and butter making .that has ever attended Purdue University is completing a term of nine days in the Purdue School of Agriculture. The class has "seven pupils, most of Wjhom are wives of prosperous Indiana farmers. The members of the class came to Purdue Monday,' November 30, and began work in the new agricultural building under the instruction of Prof. H. E. Van Norman. The class consists of Mrs. W. H. Kunse, Logansport; Mrs. M. B. Schenck, Lebanon; Mrs. B. D. Comer, Rensselaer; Mrs. O. E. Carter, Seymour; Miss Mary Rose Justice, Logansport; Miss Margaret C. Wood, Crawfordsville and John O. Leary, of Montmorenci. They will complete their course of study on Wednesday. ’ ( ~ 1 Professor Van Norman has been assisted in this special instruction by Prof. Severance Burrage, of the science department at Purdue, who has given daily lectures to the members of the class.
