Another Runaway Accident.

MoKay, the energetic and successful owner and manager of the Home Laundry of this place, is now oonfined to his bed by injuries that will lay him up three or four months, and probably result in his oeing more or less crippled permanently. He aas delivering laundry packages north of the railroad, and was approaching the railroad from the north, on Dayton street, when his horse took fright at a freight engine whioh was doing some qwitobing. The horse wheeled arounjd suddenly and broke the fastening of the thills, on one side, thns let. ting them fall so that they struck her heels, making her entirely unmanageable. She started off at a rapid pace and Mr. McKay jumped out, landing heavily on the’ frozen ground. His right ankle! whioh was bo badly orushed and 5 dislooated in bis frightful tevolv-1 ing shaft aocident of ten years ago,: and still weakened by that acdt: dent, was again very badly dislocated, all the bones in the ankle praotioally, beingthrown out of place'; In addition/td this, both bones of the leg were broken, just above the ankle. He was taken to his home in the east part of town atid 1 the dislocation and fractures Were reduoed by Dra. Kresler and Berk-’ ley. He has been suffering greets ly, but otherwise is doing as r wSil ? as oouldbe expected under the oir-. oumstanaes. Both injuries tard' bad enough btftthe* dislocations in the ankle are especially so, as they! wre of a nature that Will be very slow in healing, and' Dr. Kreslbri the physician in charge says he will be oonfined three or four months, aud probably always have a stiff ankle joint. The buggy aud harness were badly broken in the runaway.
