Another Big Eagle Killed.
Janitor Spriggs was again niade happy Saturday evening' by ’the present of another fine eagle fyir the aohool museum. This is a Jiksper county bird, or at least pretty jh earl it It is a golden eagle, and a big one. It was shot by A, D. Washburn, on the Kent Ranch, west of Fair Oaks, and by him presented to the school museum. It has a spread of wings of even seven feet. When qhot by Mr. Washburn it was regailing* itself upon one of his fat barn-yard fowls. This eagle and another of the bald-headed species have been about his place considerably lately, and have made considerable inroads upon his poultry. He approached this one within gun-shot on horseback. Mr. Spriggs will mount the bird himself, he being quite a skillful taxidermist 1 oar load, 710 bnsheia extra fancy Michigan potatoes, just received, 75 ots per bushel. Chicago Bargain Store.
