Dish Washing in Winter.

Housekeepers naturally dread dish washing in winter, owing to the fact that it chaps the hands and renders them hard and rough. Much of the injury, however, results from the usd of impure soap. If Ivory Soap is used in washing dishes and the hands are carefully rinsed and dried, they will not chap. ELEANOR R. PARKER.
